Question Coils replaced???

For those of you that have had a coil(s) replaced, do you know which one it was?

I noticed a slight mis or rough idle today while sitting. Just wondering if this could be a coil or maybe plugs. If it is a coil, can I check it out myself? and how?

Thanks in advance!

Wayne,
Not too sure on the coils, I suspected them also with the miss I was having. Also, not sure how you would check one....any one know?
I just figured it would be cheaper to start with new plugs and go from there.....luckily it worked.
But now I have to change them again to install the correct plugs with the taper I have recieved a few e-mails from fellow L owners having the same problem, let us know what you find out....

There has been a problem with the passenger side rear coil pack and leaky heater core hose clamps. Look for a little green antifreeze on the top of that coil.

Testing of coils is very "iffy".
Only testing I am aware of is to test resistance of the coil and between windings.
That still doesn't tell you what it is doing once hot, where it could have a heat related break down.

AutoZone has the specs for most coils, and the meters to test them for free, not sure if they have the specs for the L, or if they carry replacments.

Coil #4 replaced at 12,000. Slight miss at idle, and more pronounced at 1500-1800 rpm.

is this a passenger-side only issue? The reason I ask is that I have a wet residue on the rear pack on my DRIVER's side. The passenger side is dry. Any thoughts? I'll try to snap some pics to post later.
