Spiro/JL Chip question
Hey guys whats up?
I had a question for you. My freind with the grand national (he had it at norwalk) got a chip for his GN that has a neat feature that saved his car the other day. It has a "kill switch" of sorts built right into the chip so the car wont start unless you do a certain sequence of tasks first (such as tap the brake 3 times). His car was broken into in Pitt the other day...and the thief gave up because he could not start it. Seems like it would be a neat idea.
Think you could incorporate something like that into one of your chips JL?

Your Lightning has the coded key Securilock system. Without that key it will never start anyway. Read somewhere the first year Ford introduced it in Europe on the Taurus the only ones that were stolen were towed or hauled away.

Yeah...I know it has that built in...but theives know about that and have figured out ways around it....it would be harder for them to get around a system that they didn't expect at all. Something like this is different from the typical alarm.
Most theives would not think to go directly to the computer.
