Post Are these trucks in the "Fastest" category?

Can it be possible? Can we L owners say to anyone 20 years from now, that we own/owned one of the quickest 0 - 100 mph. vehicles ever made in the years 99,00,01? Lets face it, with some bolt ons, I feel this truck is on the top of the food chain. How would that sound, "Viper, Vette, Lightning" I am proud to have such an awesome piece of machinery. Where will it go next? Hopefully in 20 years i'll be saying it as I rip out of the driveway or "Radio Active Dust Rock" with a 800 H.P. 9 seconds 1/4 truck!!!

Here is an interesting test:

Note the 13.62 time. They make it sound like stock. Overall it's in pretty decent company. The 2001 L should climb up about five spots all other things kept equal.

I went 13.603 from just taking my muffler off, and putting 3 sandbags in the bed.

I, too, have never lost to a Corvette. And I have raced 4 on the street, another one in particular didn't have the guts to run. Not even from a 55 mph roll.

If my plans go as I want them, in 20 yrs. they will still be able to see and ride a low mileage "L". It's a year and a half old with only 13k on it.

When I first bought this truck I knew then That I would fall in love with it. Its the second vehicle I have ever bought And Its the badest one I got now. I plan On getting buried in my truck when I die cause after I get done with it one of these days I would have to be a fool to not try and take it with me to the other side. I would never sell my truck, there's just no experience like it out there.
