80mm Lightning MAF
What is the difference between a stock 2000 80mm Lightning MAF and a stock 2000 Mustang GT 80mm MAF? Are the Lightning MAFs locked into a specific injector or can a tuner make the MAF work with any injector?

I'm not a Maf Expert but I believe you can use whatever floats your boat.
I had 3 diff Mafs on my Stang GT, the original 80mm, a Pro M Racing Maf, and a Stock 90MM Lightning Maf, I also used 2 diff sizes of Injectors while dialing it in and Sal was able to keep me running through it all just fine.
So to answer your question I say no advantage or diff between a Mustang 80mm and a L 80mm and yes your tuner can tune it to diff sized inj's.
I miss my GT sometimes
