Post DFW area L owners........GTG on saturdays

A group of car guys get together on Saturdays at the Starbucks at 114 and MacArthur in Irving. Supra owners started this get together but all cars are invited. Recently lots of f-bodys and a few corvettes have been showing up. You will see some nice cars out there. Its a fun time to just sit back and enjoy some nice rides. Just thought i would let you guys know.

Here is a site about it for those of you who are interested.

and this coming weekend should be a good turnout of nice cars.....so come on out and join us!

Sounds interesting, at least during the winter when the tracks are closed, but I'm iffy on this weekend.

Cool

I'm playing bassetball at 9PM this Saturday, but I can probably make it the next week. How bout it Doug, Brian, & Mark? We could like all show up at the same time or something. Besides, I think we need to get a little NLOC racing chapter going from Dallas. Maybe even Texoma and include our OKC brethren.

Maybe next Saturday. That's usually date night with the SO. I'll have to plan well, but I haven't been hanging around too many tracks lately so the possibility is good.

Provided it's not 20 degrees, then I'll probably wimp out.

Regards,
Mark

The plan is to meet at Starbucks around 7:30, hang out for a little while with our trendy Chocolate Brownie Frapuccinos, and then head out for some dinner/cruising/etc. I'm open to suggestions on food/meet ides/etc, I'm just trying to start organizing these meets so we get some cool cars showing up. So far we've been having a nice selection of sports cars attending - it's up to you to continue the trend and make these meets cool.

NOTE - this is the new Starbucks at 114 and MacArthur. It is *NOT* the one at 635 & MacArthur, but rather a couple miles south of 635 on MacArthur. </font>

I'm in. Just finished washing and waxing mine. Been at it since 10 AM. Be a shame not to show it off while it's looking all purty.

Wax ****... I hate waxing .... I spent 90 minutes getting tar off drivers side, ended up using WD40 to disolve the tar.....

See you there Moonshine

ah, thats cool. This time around i think it was a total of around 8 RX-7s, around 6 supras and about 8-9 LS1s. Few of us went to hooters and then the street races. We are up there pretty much every saturday, you guys are welcome to stop by whenever you want. We are all friendly to all types of cars, and i for one love lightnings. So feel free to come on by anytime.
