Question Do SVT Engineers read this board.

I have a 2001 L on order, and am wondering if any SVT engineers read this board?
I wanted to order a red truck, but when I saw the new tail lights I changed the order to silver. I do not really like the new grill or the tail lights. I am still not sure about the rims, when I finally se the rims in person maybee I will like them. I do like the head lights, but I will be putting on a new grill.
Also how about bucket seats with a console option, the adjustable pedels would be nice, and a real stereo. Also how about a volt/altinator guage would be nice.(maybee put it where the 4x4 switch would be on a 4x4)
Thanks
Don

I'm sure they do.

That would be cool, but you already have people complaining it will only hold 3 tightly now...

P.S. The New wheels look alot better on silver. Silver is also the best color.

Exclamation

I really doubt they even know it exist. Engineers are in their own little world. I'd like to get my hands on the jerk who put the spark plugs where it take 3 hours to change them. The guys at the SVT 800 number watch the board. (Hi Matt, Merry Christmas).

Thumbs up

"YES" The SVE engineers are well aware of this board and others, so is Ford security! That's why people that work for Ford,Visteon or suppliers that have inside information about future programs should be careful what they say here!!

Thanks for the responces
SilverBullet my 93 L had the buckets and console, and so does my 99 4x4 if I have to drive somewhere with more than one other person one of them can drive, helps keep the miles off the truck. I will miss the storage of the console maybee I will see if I can get a second drivers seat, and a expidition console.
KGM I'll keep you in mind if I change the grill.
Well it is good to see Big Brother is keeping a eye on us, and maybee they can get me my truck soon

If they are watching this board they better send Cal Worhtingtons an extra intercooler becuase they told me I'd get a loaner car until it was fixed. And its on 45 day back order. Something's gotta give and its not gonna be me.

Ford Security does not exist. If it did, then maybe the guy who works at Woodhaven Stamping's crib would not have over a quarter million dollars worth of Ford property in his garage. And his boss, she would not have all the stuff she does either. As far as engineers go, they dont read this, why should they, they dont want to hear about problems, they are too busy gloating about the vehicles they designed. They are too stubborn to understand that they had used inferior parts.

Talking

Well, if they're watchin anybody care to leak (great choice of words) how many intercoolers have been shipped to dealerships for replacements. That would be an interesting thing to know. My guess is probably over 1,000.

Hey Tundra..
When did you lose your intercooler. I keep checking my fluid and its still full..
I only have 6K on my L though.
Anything else I should watch for?

Thumbs down

Well if SVT Engineers do read this board...I don't give a "RATS ***!" I have heard nothing of substance from Ford concerning the Intercooler Issue. Where is the fix? There is NO FIX. Just a lousy replacement! Rhetoric..rhetoric..and more bull**** rhetoric. Ford should be ashamed! Where is this "retrofit"? Anyone know???? Question for the Millenium!!! I really don't have the time with my schedule to screw around with Ford and this intercooler. I'll sell this sucker...I refuse to buy the lower and upper and the new Supercharger....30,000 grand? BS I'll buy a 330i and be done with it!! This is BS!! Somebody from Ford should step up to the plate. Get on the pot..and get the job done..or get off the pot..and flush this issue..once and for all!! This could reduce the value drastically of these vehicles in the future..when word gets out....it could end up like the "Vega Engine Issue"...IMHO..
