Need some backup on Corvette board
This goober has a high 14 second Vette, a motorcycle that on runs high 13s, and an old POS Blazer, and he keeps calling Lightnings "slow POS".

Your right, you do need some help over their. That Corvette_Canyon guy is a moron, sure the L is somewhat slower than a C5 or Viper right off the showroom floor, but add a chip and filter and the gap between the L and C5 closes significantly. Oh yeah, the L weighs 4800 lbs!! If Ford would put the L on a 3 or 400 pound diet, can you say low 13's off showroom floor.
By the way, I see you have a 01 CR250, how do you like it? I am in the market for a new 250, just wondering thanks.

Anyway, I went there and tried to help with my .02, although you can talk till you're blue in the face with those types. He just needs a spanking, plain and simple.

I already ripped that guy a newone on that board. Don't worry cause next time he comes to chicago where gonna race and believe me I'll win cause I don't plan on running any 13's or 12's after this winter.

The protagonist over on the Corvette board has been strangely silent since a bunch of Lighting owners and some of his fellow Corvette owners (I think they're ashamed of him) set him straight.
SVT Snake - I love my CR, it is much better the my '99 YZ250 in every aspect. The only complaint I have is that it comes from the factory jetted a little soft. I replaced the carb with a prejetted Keihin from the Carburator Parts Warehouse, and it runs perfect - much crisper than the stock carb.
