What the heck is a snow blower

Thanks, Killa, that was fun to read. I understand completely now. (If I can find it, I'll send you a joke about "A Southerner moves North"--about his first winter. I'll get with ya later about e-mail address if I can find it.)
All I did today was take front end of L apart, hope to be putting on drop control arms tomorrow.

Snowblower.....snowblower.....what is that exactly? If I ever moved the occasional snow off the driveway, then I would have to go to work....nahhhhh!
Hey , do they make a chip or filter kit for that rascal??? Overdrive pulleys?
A guy from Conn. once visited our plant, and talked about having to shovel/sweep snow off the roof of his house to keep it from collapsing. Sounds like you're getting close to that, huh?
MY REPLIE TO HIS QUESTION:
Well a snowblower is a mod for the lightnings in the winter. Instead of just sucking air in the motor, the snowblower takes in snow, kinda like the gigawat from back to the future. The snow and air mixture greatly increases forces inside the motor giving it a big bang in hp and trq. Now if you want to get the most from your snowblower at the track you need to ad the speacially formulated snow thats yellow in color. Now this snow already has octane booster and many other high performance liquids added to it. It basically like a NOS wet kit and a can of starting fluid mixed together. Watch out cause there she goes.
No seriouslly if you don't know what a snowblower is then you don't know what snow is.
Actually I have ordered a chip for my new blower directly from superchips. It should be here for tonight episode of the white ***** again. I also have fitted my new blower with some BF goodrich dragradials from better traction on the ice. I'm debating on the new exhaust kit from Bassani for it cause they claim it gets about .25 to .5 hp but my neighbor did a kit on his and he said it sounds real good but he didn't gain a snow throwing footage. Where still at about 37.984 feet at 28.89 mph. Its really dispointing. To make up for the exhaust kit, I decided to go with a new ported and polished intake. My neighbor and me both agreeded that the old one was just to restricting. Now with this mod something amazing happended. My neighbors distance footage jumped to an increadiable 45.327 and his mph jumped to 39.87 mph. With these speeds at hand, he was taking out neighboring windows and just destroying mailboxes. I really need to get a video camera so you all can watch. The police have been searching the area only able to find burnout marks and junks of wood and plastic all over the ground. We where smart enough to not leave any evidence. The case is still inder investigastion to this day. We see the police driving around all the time but we don't have the throttle up all the way, so there none the wiser. When they leave though its a whole new ball game. I think the old man across the street is starting to catch on, he just went out yesterday and got his new MTD. He gives us dirty looks as he throws his snow on my lawn but he'll come around someday and join us, and all the rest will realizes that this game we play is just that, a game.
Don't even ask me why I just wrote that story.
this is a secret so don't let anyone know but there going to be a meeting on the corner of braburn and sunset thursday night at 9:00 pm. Bring your blower and gas for a comp. All bets will be placed with the fine looking blonde in the yellow bikini. Any disputes over the types of snow will be taken care of that night. Please no children allowed, this could get ugly. Registration is free for the first time, but there will be a fee for following events. Hot choclates will be sevred with roasted chesnuts. Please bring your own shoe polish. Thank you

Gotta love those MTD snow throwers!!!
By the way, we have a couple test units floating around here that are juiced up quite a bit - lots of fun in the snow!

Who needs a snowblower, I've got a Lightning Plow!
I returned from Salt Lake (where they got 30"+ where we were, but they know how to handle it) after midnight last Tuesday. After breaking my scraper removing 10" of snow with a frozen crust then getting out of the mostly unplowed airport parking lot, I headed home. Turning off Main Street (plowed) into my neighborhood (unplowed) was a mistake. I found myself in at least 12" of fairly heavy snow. Thank the powers that be that my Winter Dualers and 500 lbs of salt in the bed bit well. I shifted to 2nd gear and tried to keep from loosing momentum. Snow built up into a big mound in front of the truck and came over the hood and covered the windshield. I opened my window and stuck my head out and just kept going, past my house (there was no way I was going to risk a blind turn to the right), to the next plowed street two blocks beyond. Whew! I made it.
After I found a place to park it (and checked the front end for damage (thankfully none)), I walked home. The Lightning Plow had left only about 6" of snow between the two tire tracks, which was much easier to walk through. Maybe I should bill the City for making the first pass.
