Yeah. I'm up and bored as hell! We finished finals yesterday and, after a month of unbelievable stress, my body has no idea how to relax. All these kids need to go home so the cops will go off of attack mode and leave us locals here so we can party *****.

If you get really bored you can check out the general board on www.texags.com and laugh at all the dumb Aggies around here (myslef included) or you can check out www.sema.org . I'm gonna graduate in a few months, so I was looking for a job and came across it. Its a huge site, but interesting.

Have fun at work.

DUCK

Brimstone,
I am a E-business Netwrok Support Engineer. I pretty much just wait for something to break and I fix it, sounds kinda boring but I only plan on doing this for another year and then I am moving East. My wife is a Network Engineer as well. The money is greeaaattt as I am sure you know! I am pulling some long shifts to pay for Christmas. I get paid hourly. What do you design?

That is cool our network engineer is still working right now too. It can be a stressful job when something goes down and everyone is depending on you to get it working again. So appreciate the times when nothing is broken!

In this office alone we have about 20 PC workstations, and the 2 dual chip PowerMac G4s which me and my assistant use. All connected. We have several locations and having them all networked together is one of our goals.

I design for several companies, some multi-million dollar ones, some small businesses. I am actually employed by one main company that "leases" me out to several others. This way I get full paid medical/dental/vision, GREAT investment earnings (which I don't touch otherwise I'd be driving a Viper right now), company car, paid meals, etc. I do corporate identity, brochures, catalogs, sales materials, web sites, infomercials, stuff like that. Lots of sleepless nights when we have tight deadlines.

I'm about to take off now and leave the network guy here by himself. He he.

Later,
Mike
