As I pulled into West Marine this afternoon a fellow wearing a jacket with a Harley logo walked up and asked me if that was one of those Lightnings. With the logo on the fender I could hardly deny it. He proceeded to grill me about where I got it, how much it cost, etc. etc. When I told him I got it about a mile down the street at Barber Ford he became chagrined, and said that he didn't know that there was a local dealer or otherwise he might have bought an L. instead of his new R/T. I explained that it wasn't quite that easy and how the process of buying an L. worked. He said that in that case he might put a blower on his R/T so that "you guys won't go by me quite so fast". He walked off with an obviously serious case of Lightning envy.
