I just got the VIN 2FTZF07331CA46910 and build date 1/29/01 for my Silver Bolt!

 

How the hell did you get a VIN number if they haven't even set a production date. I ordered mine a month ago and they said a VIN is not available. When did you order yours?

 

They've set different production dates. On my first order, I got my VIN # in less the 3 weeks from ordering it. I'm still waiting for my most recent number. In THIS case, the build date for this truck, and I"m sure a few other 100 trucks is the 29th of January, and he should get it sometime mid Feb? Sound about right? If you haven't got your VIN # yet, your dealer might not have got it yet, or they just haven't looked for it.

I've had my VIN for several weeks now. I just got off the phone with my dealer. They now have a 29 January build date from Ford. Unless SVT pulls some of their usual mess....delay, delay, delay, I too should see it sometime in Feb. Light at the end of the tunnel??????

Yeah, that's what the dealership told me too, that I should see it mid Feb or early March.

 

Hey guys I hope you get yours on time but the way ford and svt is you might wait alot longer. I ordered my 99 at the end of 98 and paid for it in full in feb of 99 with my trade in and didn't pick mine up until june 22 when it was the first one they got. They wouldn't tell me nothing about mine when I was waiting so I guess thats a good sign.

 

I talked to SVT today,they did confirm Jan 8 is job one.
