Post r9,bassani,airraid vs r9,pulley,downsfilter

Just a little info for you guys who are considering the bassani system. The two trucks at the track on sunday had r9's k&n filters and one had a pulley thats mine the other had a full bassani exhaust . My truck is just a tad faster further more it cost about 2000 less. My pulley is a auto specialties they told me it was a 2# pulley that required no milling JL says thats impossible has any one else seen 2# on a auto spec. pulley

It seems as if nobody is interested that the pulley for 126 will pick you up just as much as the bassani headers and exhaust for 2000

I'm guilty of spending alot for a little sometimes. I think it's called "I-spent-it-can't-return-it-better-justify-it-itis". After buying a 6-speed Vette new in '93, 1st thing I did was blow $1,200 bucks on a stainless Borla cat-back system. Went to the track and picked up......nothing really. Maybe a tenth, maybe 1 mph, or was it just the weather?? Oh well, I polished it up like chrome, polished my lower control arms that were now visible due to the slimmer mufflers, and at least for my $1,200 I LOOKED good!

From what I heard on the site the pulley can hurt the supercharger and the exaust would never do that, only help it out, especially if you ever go into the motor right

I have talked to alot of people about the pulley the biggest problem with hurting the charger is the istallation. I don't think the pulley is a big gain but it's only 125 dollars. JL is a big supporter of the pulley and he is going way fast. All i know is i'm faster e.t. and mph than the guy who has the exhaust. Thanks for the response
