Dont hold me to it, but ion a couple of days I might have a *.mov (quicktime) movie of my instrument panel going from an indicated 5mpg to about 80mph. You'll get to see all the lights and guages light up. Maybe even tomorrow night....

Check out my site, you will find more interesting videos of what a Lightning can do on the streets...

How do you forget what your own steering wheel and guage cluster look like???

I know there is a video by a member on this board that has him flying at around 90MPH+. Can't remember who it is. I'll try and find it.

On the Mustangs with the electronic odometer, you can get into "diagnostic mode" and see stuff like the actual temp (in degrees) of the coolant and other stuff like that. Does any1 know if it can be done on the L? It shows the display in place of the odometer and has to be "restarted" every time you shut the engine down.

z96, it was said by another member pretty recently , that yes, that could be done. I think he said to hold down the trip button for 5 seconds, and then start your engine. Not sure if will acutally work, since I don't have my L yet.

I tried it and it works!

It's awesome, specially the real-time tach.

-Turn key to off position
-Press and hold the trip button
-Turn key to on position w/o cranking
-Keep holding the trip button until odometer say Bulb or gauge (can't remember)
-Press the trip button to circle thru the options

Now you can crank the ignition do get the different data.
