Post Lighted Hitch Cover Pictures

Finally, I have posted a picture of the Lighted Ford Blue Oval for a review. What do you think of the Hitch Cover?

Yea, its cool. HOWEVER, I put on the lighted Ford oval on my tailgage and promptly got pulled over for having a blue light on my truck. The officer told me in Colorado only emergency vehicles were allowed blue illumination. So I threw it away. I don't need to be any bigger of a target than I already am. Check the California laws, or use it very sparingly.

Doh! ... then it makes sense for him to have blue on the truck.

LightStruck, not available , but easily made. I remounted the trailer hitch wire hookup under the truck and wired the lighted unit into the plug with quick disconnects and the standard trailer 4 wire plug. When I need to tow, it disconnects in 10 seconds and is removed to allow access to the hitch receiver. A simple inline switch will solve the "always On" worry mode!
