I just wanted to tell both of you guys thanks. I have a white Lightning and I've been waiting to see how the chrome wheels looked. I thought they might outshine the truck, but they look great and now I'll start saving for my set! Thanks again! Mike

Hey Lightningquick:
Looks great. Also been waiting for pics of white with chrome. Where did you get the rims and whats the cost? Just wondering if theres another source besides Santa Ana. Heard their chrome may not hold up to harsh road conditions.
Thanks, Ed

Looks cool, are you from Salem, I think I have seen your truck in Salem. If not there is a white L in Salem. By the way do you have problems in NH without your front plate?

Hey guys,Thanks

1. I would absolutly reccomend WWW.HWMOTORSPORTS.com
I had my 99 Lightning wheels done chrome buy a local guy the first time. They were chrome and thats about it.They kind of had a foggy not shiny finish. My 2000 wheels were done at HW.They are absolutly great!! Not only are they great but the service is awesome! Since you guys are from around here,You will know that people from NE are always really stressed and customer service really $ucks around here.I called HW motorsports in california and can tell you,I think their attitude is just as good as their chroming process.Always friendly ,prompt service.Expect about $550 including caps + shipping.Sorry for the long post but good customer service is worth talking about.Their is plenty of bad service on another lightning board. You know the ""soon to be hottest lightning board" LOL LOL

2. I am always in the Lynn, danvers area.If you guys see a white Lightning with Chrome wheels,Its me!Not many white around here.3 including me from the 2 years Ive had Lightnings.

3. It is illegal to not have a front plate but, driving a Lightning around here is kind of driving a lexus or vette. If you dont screw around, cops dont bother you if you are driving a "High market vechicle" If you are driving a 86 scort,You can expect a full car search Not really right but it is true.

4. I had my "radio guy"(good friend) at Miles installations on rte 110 in Salisbury Ma do my fogs without headlights. It took him 5 minutes! He has "THE" silver lowered 97 f150 reg cab, longbed ,color cap. with huge sound system.

Hey Lightningquick I was at the Fun Ford weekend and was parked next to you. I took a shot of your truck when I was dreaming of having a 2000 Lightning. At the time I had my White 95 Lightning and my 93 teal cobra was parked next to your truck.

Well any way here is another angle of his truck with chrome wheels. Also you can kind of see the white tonneau cover.

The 5 minute process is exactly what is posted on the f150online thread.Mt friend is just a wizard and did it in 5 minutes.I can also say that the job is actually really quick and easy,It just looks like alot in the directions. It is easier than it looks. If you do one,You too will be able to do the second in 5 minutes.

Thanks for the other picture. My tonneau cover is actually light grey along with both of my Ford emblems to go along with my interior.

I hope you did not get rid of any of them to get your new one cause both were beautiful. Also wasnt it you who won a pize or the other 93 teal? one had chrome rims or polished?
