11's

So, I have a decent amount of stuff done to the L. I have 160thermo, chickenears cold air, 4lb lower, steig ported polished blower-plenum-tb, ftvb, breather, bypass, plugs, silver bullit catback, and a pauls high performance tune. I got the launch down really well...but what else can I do to see 11's. More boost? whats safe? should I upgrade to a smaller blower pulley for more boost? I gtecked a 12.26 before, and did a 12.3 at track with slicks, but theres some new guys in town with twin turbo camaros and that, and I hate to get showed up.. Any advise need the best bang for the buck without spraying it

Your as fast as your going to get .....with bang for the buck.

You could try

upgraded MAF, 6lb pulley, high flow cats at a minimum (full length headers are not exactly bang for the buck) and a new tune and you might crack the 11's with the right conditions.

expensive guaranteed 11's since your seeing 12.3 now, would be cams and headers with supporting mods of a new MAF, fuel pumps and injectors..... good for around 50RWHP, and more with head work.

Hard to get much faster than that without a "big" mod/s.

yep, keep the 4lb lower and spray a 75-100hp shot (tuned, of course).... that'll get you there

A 50 shot might even get you there. If you spray a wet shot you might not need a retune! I would check you A/F numbers though! Jim

Largest Stall you can get, should buy you at least three tenths... I gained 6 tenths and nearly 3mph with a 3800 in my 70 torinoCJ.

In more ways than one

Seriously, a 2400-2600 stall with a 28" slick will help tremendously. Just get teh suspension dialed in, and do some weight reduction.

Without investing $1,000's more, you'll be stuck around the 11.9-12.4 range (depending on track, tune, weather).

A good 50HP wet shot will put you in the 11's with slicks. I keep missing it on my Nitto DRs... 12.1 @ 114 is where I'm stuck (75 shot; 12.1 @ 113 with a 50 shot). My n2o hit is VERY rich, leaving a lot on the table, but hopefully keeping the internals together (I run the NX standard jetting with a full blast of 90% methanol injection).

go to rpmoutlet.com. They sell an upper intake/throttle body deal. The throttle body is single blade so its bad ***. I installed in about 3 hours
