Tonneau supports

I need to replace the support bars for the factory tonneau cover for my 2003. One of mine is bent and I cannot get it straightened out.

Any ideas where to get one or if need be the pair?

I have a $1.47 saved. Think this will be enough or do you think I should keep saving?

I have an extra one...measure yours from side to side and let me know how long it is...

Mine is from my 07 fx4 and it's a lebra ultra lift tonneau.

So why do I have an extra one, right? Well, I thought one was messed up from the factory...it sat a little higher than the others, so I e-mailed the manufacturer, and they shipped me one out ... turns out they are exactly the same.

This is a front cross bar though...it does bulge higher than the middle and the rear, and is a little bit longer.

Newly, if your going to buy anything from Ford you better keep saving. If you look on ebay you'll be probebly saving for alot less time.

I think he means 1 dollar and 47 cents. Hence $1.47.

DEAPEE, it is the rear support that I need. Will have to measure later today.
Thanks for your response. Appreciate the info.

Do you have a job? 1.47 cents!!!!! I can return 25 cans and get that kind of money. You must be 16 and have no job. Or you must make 4 cents an hour.

Hey BLACK02SVTL, since you live in the same state as SVTLIGHTING, and I am sorry for you, would you please go whup him upside the head and tell him it was a little attempt at humor on my part. I assumed nothing from Ford would be cheap.

I have a job and don't have to pick up cans by the way.

Hope you guys have a good day and maybe summer will come to your part of the world sometime soon. We were 82 on Monday and 27 today. Sunday is to be 19!! Great to live in the Midwest.

Enjoy your trucks and keep safe.

Correct me if I am wrong, but factory covers for Ls were soft ones, not hard one, and you said you had a ultra lift. I don't believe the Ls had lift tonneaus on them. If I am wrong, sorry.

Man I have no idea to be honest. I'm not a Lightning guy...more of the off-road type, hence the FX4.

I just figured if they're the same length, there's no reason this one wouldn't work...that's why I was saying he should measure it. And my tonneau is a soft tonneau.

It's the Lebra Ultra Lift...

From lebra's website:

I don't know if it'll work or not...but it's sitting in my garage doing nothing...I'd imagine his bed is the same width as mine, but the problem is there's a good difference in size on the front and the rear, so I don't think it will work.

Don't try to think. You've repeatedly proven that you're not good at it.
