spark plug threads

I imagine everyone is sick of talking or hearing about this but my 99 lightning spat out the drivers side rear spark plug. Two weeks ago the plug blew out while I was racing the truck. Upon inspection a new plug screwed in and in took torque. replaced the coil pack and off I went. Well today it did it again but it took the threads with it. I had a keensert set lying around, (don't ask why I had this, cause I dont know) so I installed one of these in the hole and felt very pleased with myself. But my joy was shortlived because the keensert leaks. A slight tick as if it had a exhaust leak. So I fear the head will be coming off and either fixed or replaced. Oh well, worse things happen at sea.

Do a search for " Timesert " on this site or google. Many here have used it with success. Good luck!
