Kinda expensive compared to ram air kit. Also says if your engine is over 5.0L that you have to e-mail them to find out your options. Sounds like it's not big enough.

Exclamation Possible Alternative to Ram-Air

I just thought of this yesterday. My wife drives an SVT Contour and I follow the discussion boards for those vehicles. Anyway, a few months ago, someone there did a rig up for an E-ram, electric supercharger for their SVT Contour. Basically, it is a WOT activated by a switch, high powered electric fan that creates about 1PSI of boost. This is probably very similar to what you get from a Ram-air system at high speeds, but you could potentially rig up a "forced cold air" system in the fenderwell with one of these things that would kick in when you really hit the throttle. I don't know if it would help much with us already having forced air under boost, but it might help add air to the mixture. Here is the link.

What does everyone think?

I had one of those on my old bmw and it isn't worth the money. The quality is LOUSY. You can't use it for more than like 15 or 20 seconds too. It would be a good product if you put 2 or 3 in a series but it would cost over 1k. Anyways I thought it was too expensive and I didn't get what I paid for.

One of my friends tried something similar to this with an old belt drive smog pump! It was a "home made" supercharger. It only lasted for about 2-3 minutes before the whole thing exploded! He said that there were parts everywhere! He must've been EXTREMELY bored that day! LOL

Hello all..

This looks a little silly to me.. It reminds me of the time we tried to hook a leaf blower up to my friends Nova.. We were VERY bored..

I have seens elecrtic supercharger before.. put only for 4 cyl. applications.. It seems there is no electric motor that can push enough air to feed a V-8..
