Cool Santa Ana Chrome Wheels

My question to all my favorite people is this: To those who have exchanged their wheels for chromed ones from Santa Ana Wheels, how would you rate the quailty. From 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest. Am buying my third set of tires and figure to put some chome wheels on also. The Tirerack has chrome SVT rims for 340 apiece I believe, Iand I understand Santa Ana's price is $500 for a set of four + core charge. Is that correct? Thanks in advance.

Correct. $500 exchanged. That's for all four and if you're at their shop that also includes mounting and balancing.

Quality for me is great

Question

I am equally interested. However, it leaves me with a tough decision.

Powdercoat mine RED, buy chrome, or save for a move?

Thumbs up

Quality was good, 9.0, center caps didn't make it in the first shipment but they promptly sent them when I called. The price was the best I could find $450. They were also prompt on the credit for the cores.

WHAT!?!?! Who lets brake dust build up on their rims?? I wash mine almost everyother day and I don't even have chrome rims. (yet) They're on my X-mas wish list though! And you can bet that they'll never have brake dust on them. Just my $.02

Hey Guys,
I had my SS wheels chromed by a local dealer. His work was flawless but he charged nearly twice as much.
Santa Ana's wheels showed some discoloring in the corners and the wheels had a few dents on them. But the flaws can not be seen when you stand and look at them. I would think anyone would be very happy with the Santa Ana wheels. Our trucks are driven and after three or four miles in the city; the brake dust will hide the small flaws.
Good luck,
Alvin

I've only had mine a couple of months, i'd maybe give them an 8.5. They look good but have a couple of blemishes in the inside corners, but are hard to see unless you get down and really look at them. But they are worth the money.

Ok guy's, send in you cores!!! I called two weeks ago and was told they have so many out that they are out of cores (for the 99 L). I got on a list behind three or four others. My tires are gone (27,000 miles)!!! I need to order tires, but I want to put them on the new wheels.
