Question vibration

can anyone help ? getting a vibration at 95mph goes off at 100mph and is smooth below 95mph. Can feel it through the seat and in the cab in general, feels like a change to a rough road surface or uneven concrete road surface, have had prop shaft and wheels balanced no better, it's not bad but anoying - any ideas? Tork convertor balance? although do not get it through any other gears, only at the one speed.

A friend of mine had the same problem with a 2001 spot-trac, turned out that he had a torn belt in his tire which you couldn't see. The dealer couldn't find this problem, it took a really good tire shop that does that old school balancing on the rim.

Ummmmm... yes I'm familiar. Don't expect much of an answer from Ford on this one. "It's a truck you know. They vibrate a lot!?!"

Question

Does changing the tire pressures affect the mph that the vibration occurs? I've noticed that a slight vibration I had at 75 mph @ 28 psi has now moved to 80 mph @ 31 psi. It also diminished it to some degree. I only changed the pressure in the rear tires in order to loosen up the handling a bit, the fronts are still the same.
