Gas pedal gets stuck again under Group Buy Floormats
FORDSALES, these Group Buy Floormats w/out the eyelit are extremely dangereous. Can you check with the company or post their number so I can send mine back to get the eyelet put in.
I went to the track last night and launched really hard but only got tire spin. So I decided to shut down but to my horror the truck kept spinning and going. I remembered the other post with the stuck gas pedal under the new floormats so I immediatly looked down and sure enough, the floormat had crept forward and the pedal was stuck at WOT underneath it!!! Luckily, I had plenty of time to pull up the floormat. If and when that happens to someone in traffic, it will be disasterous!!! This is the second time this has happened in less than 2 months. We need to get this problem fixed before someone gets seriously hurt.
Not a flame on the floormats, I love them. I think they will be safe once we get the eyelets in them, but until then, they are a major product liability waiting to happen. Thanks, Jeff

The mats that I received without the eyelets so far has not caused me any problems.
For those of you that approved receiving mats without the eyelets, write Haig Co. and let them know that your Lightning mats were received without the grommets and you would like to have a set. Enclose your return address and they will mail you a set.
I watched them put a set in and it is pretty easy.
Haig Industries' address is:
9775 Glenoaks Blvd., Unit D
Sun Valley, CA 91352

A special punch tool and dye, two pieces sold as a set, are required to set each size of eyelet. Sometimes available as individual sets. They can be purchased here. http://www.zackwhite.com/leather_sto...ther_craft.htm
Ask the carpet company what size is needed.
Best best is to find someone with the set and have them install at your marked location. Try shoe, boot, and leather repairers.
