Was this Ebay Lightning a good buy ? or WHAT !!

Man what a STEAL on this truck ! did I do good or what ? This will be my 3rd L in 2 years , I started with a 2001 that also had been to JLP for a little while but it was only pushing 412 rwhp . Got rid of it and went in for a 2003 Sonic blue ( great color btw imo ) that was running around 430 rwhp , kept it a year and traded it last July , I've hated myself ever since , been thru 3 "other" brands of trucks in 7 months and I just couldn't take it anymore !! I'm going to pick this beast up in a week , man its going to be a L O N G week

I've been off the forum for a while and glad to get back into the swing of things and catch up !

I MIGHT be getting rid of the seats to find a stock svt bench to swap back out with ( I need 3 across seating ) Depends how much of a pain it is to get the roll cage out . I'll post on here first before I stick them on Ebay .

Anybody need a 06 Nissan Frontier Crewcab LE 3,800 miles hehee ? Cheap ?

Glad to be back !

S.C.

I did the same thing....sold my L, went through a bunch of Chevy pickups, and bought another L and have been very happy ever since!

Someone poured a bunch of $$$ into that truck. Great find and good luck with it!!

Thanks , If I keep it long enough hehehe I'll end up trying to find a set of stock wheels too .

Anybody know what the racing seats are worth used but like new ? These are the wide version . I saw them on line for $549 each new plus shipping .
I think I'll be able to find someone who wants to swap a factory SVT seat for these !

Yes it is......It has the nitrous kit that was originally on his red truck, then on my truck and back to him on this truck.

The ride is sweet, the only thing I can see I don't love is the spacing on the wheels and the purple amp sticking out from under the seat, the rear wheels look like they extend out to far/ incorrect offset and the fronts look like there to far in again incorrect offset, the style looks great though

Do you ever have anything good to say>??? No need to say that in this guy's thread. He made a good buy and yes that sure does look like Beefcake's old truck. Goodluck with it! -Mat-

He's just jealous because his 15k offer was rejected.

You do have a tendency to put a negative spin on just about everyone's posts, dude. Yet, when you post pics of your new wheels or ask how to remove a bed cover, people still give you positive feedback / informative answers.

You might want to think about that next time you're typing up a response.

Congrats on the purchase!! Looks like a nice rig.

It's def worth every penny and then some, Good Score 620 Best of Luck and WELCOME HOME

BTW
WTF is with the "Purple THING" parked next to Beef's L in that picture : o ()
why not just stand a 4x8 sheet of plywood up and try running down the track
to see how aero it is

Steep ? Heck the parts are almost worth what was paid for the truck !
Every forum has one like this , doesn't bother me , my 3rd L , gald to get it .
Maybe he's just made because he still doesn't have the high H.P. #'s worth posting ? ? I still luv ya man .

I've been trying to get in contact with Terry , I found his old forum / homepage but looks like noones been on it in awhile . I was trying to find out exactly how many "runs" the truck has made and if he had the JLP work done or who did it , if he was 2nd / 3rd / 4th owner . I'm being told by the current owner that truck has seen very little track time and has really been taken care of with zero issues .

Thanks for the positive ( and negative ) support !
