I was just wondering if anyone has done the nitrous express kit. I know there all about the same but they have a kit made for the lightnings that I was going to get this winter.

What kind of gains should I expect with the nos. I'm also putting the new TB on, New programed flip chip, Pro M, complete off road exhaust, 4.10 gear, 16 inch welds and et streets for next spring.

Just curious, Can't wait to get started on this years projects.
What other kits are good.
also wet kit or dry, I was told wet.
Later boys, I hope to be in the low 12's with you guys next year.

Where did you get your 4.10's? Just curious, as that was going to be my next "upgrade"...assuming I can find them.

 

I dont know how much this will help, but I do run a NX kit on my cobra, and the only 3 useful parts I got out of my kit was the solenoids, bottle, shark nozzle. All the braided lines, and the throttle switch, were complete garbage and had to be replaced. I hope NX is using higher quality parts now, but if not, be prepared to buy extra stuff.
The automatic bottle heater is nice, but thats sold seperately.
Performance wise, with a 150 shot, I could never get the times that people running the NOS dry kit were.

They guy that runs NX will talk to you forever before you buy a kit. Afterwards when you call and ask why the numbers dont add up with the shot your using, he is never available.

**This is just my experience with NX kits, many people may love their NX kit, but I will always feel like I have been burned.**

We've had some serious problems on our Supra list (I'm a mkiv supra owner as well) with the NX kits. I know of two people that have burned valves and holed a piston because of the shoddy quality of the NX solenoids. Both had their N20 solenoid stick open after deactivating the system. NOS is the only manufacturer recommended on our list.

If the nx kit is garbarge then what would you guys recomend. I haven't really heard of any other kits out there, even though I'm sure there out there.

I haveing my buddys friend mike post do the 4.10 gear this winter. I think he's going to use a ford motorsport gear. He always says to use for parts if you can cause they cheaper and there the same quality. I think he got me the gear for about $190.00, and he hasn't gave me a price on the install, but it better be cheap, cuase I'm having him do my mustang for street renegade class.

Kinda was hoping to make the L fast as hell but now that I think about it, I still want to drive it around on the weekend's so I guess I'm just going to do mostly bolt on's and hopefully get her down to a low 12 without spray. Hoping for a mid 11 on the spray. Seems like it can be done.

I really want to go fast and the my L is not the way to go. When I say fast, I want like 9's, and you all know getting a L to do that is a job, so I stick to my mustang. I'm gonna name the mustang Thunder, and when I bring it to the track I'll have her behind the Lightning on a trailer. Lightning comes first then Thunder. That will be a good picture.
