Post Where do you hide the bottle?

Hey guys, checked the FAQ and didn't see anything there. Maybe one of you can help? I'm getting a NOS kit in the next week or so, but can't decide on a good spot to put the bottle. Where have some of you guys put it? I'd like to keep it in the cab if possible, but the thunderforms limit the space behind the seats. Any good ideas?

Thx,
Jason

well I'll you what I'm in the process of doing. I'm going to build a holder for the bottle in my next box. The only problem for me is I'll lose the space I need for the subs. I'll probably end up running two phoenix gold Xmax 10's. Great sub and they work in a small enslosure. Plus with hidding the bottle you can't get busted, but anybody.

Better yet put one of those bottles right between your legs. I bet this guy was glad his was in the trunk...

This doesnt even address the danger of having compressed poisonous gas in the cab with you........

Wouldnt be my choice...........

Thanks for the responses guys. TampaBayLightning.....did you have to drill a hole through the front of the bed?

Bulldog, could you explain your setup a little more? Under the floorboard....is it actually under the vehicle?

Stang, I'd love to put it where yours is, but the thunderforms eat up all that space:-(

Thx,
Jason

Jason:

Yes. I drilled a 3/4" hole through the bed floor and installed a rubber grommet w/sealant.

I also used black wireloom to conceal the braided line and wiring from the bottle to the selenoid under the hood. I was able to run the lines along and inside the frame. You'd really have to look hard to find any of it.

I had serious reservations about installing the bottle in the cab....
