Talking FAQ Was Beautiful!

Howdy Guys,
Sorry about bringing up all those topics. I saw the heading listed as {New To Lightning Forum (Click Here)}, but since I wasn't "new" I didn't know. My apology for bringing up the old threads. I would like to congradulate whoever put together the comprehensive, and concise FAQ. It's perfect, and very similar to something I would have arranged. It's "excellent". Well anyway I hope to talk more often here, and meet up with some of you fellas. I'll even do some trash talking *evil grin*. You know I can whoop all your heiny's!

Sincerely,
Metallic "Uh-You-Know-You-Like-It" Blue

Cool

Hey Rich!,
I had to re-read some old threads to remember who my "friends" were here *evil grin* . You were always really cool!. but check out this old thread. Man was it depressing to re-read.

Man I sure hope things have settled down here at F-150, and I hope the people here haven't changed since my first days.

I hate when "everything" you say seems to step on someone's toes. It gets tiring after awhile having to walk on egg shells.

Sincerely,

Talking

Hey What!,
I'm all for new starts. No sense in holding grudges. Hell I even pray for my enemies, and those who have hurt me. I guess I can't be that bad of a fella if I'm doing that. I've got plenty of faults. I'd lay down in traffic for most of my fellow Lightning owners though, so that's gotta say something positive!

Sincerely,

Hey Tundra!,
Well currently my health is "better" then when you last heard from me here on F150.com. I did talk to you after my diagnosis, and when I began gaining weight again. Just a quick update for everyone: I have Crohn's Disease:
  • Crohn's disease(pronounced kronz). This chronic inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract results in severe diarrhea, excessive weight loss, debilitating abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, bowel obstruction, fistulas and abscesses. Chronic Crohn's will likely lead to surgery for removal of inflamed intestine, as well as a lifetime of harsh drug therapy that often doesn't work." -Lisa Chamberlain (Cleveland Times)

I almost died back in April as many here can attest. I lost over 80lbs between Christmas of 1999, and May 1st of 2000. I was reaching out for help here, as well as anyplace else, where anyone who would listen to me. Some people told me to shut up, and stop complaining, but most embraced my cry, and actually tried to help. To those who helped you "saved" my ***, because I found a doctor just in time who made the appropriate diagnosis!. I'm still very sick at this time, and on a lot of maintenance medication, but I have gained back 110lbs. I'm slightly "overweight", but it's far better then weighing 125lbs like I did. I've spent months, and months researching. I've worked with current theory, and created hypothesis as I have gone. I should be able to "cure" this disease very soon. My research will surely lead the world of medicine to a conclusion where others will never have to suffer again with a disease like this.

Tundra you were "there" when I needed help, so I've got your back. I checked out your website, and have bookmarked it. I dig it big time! Excellent site. You can check mine out as well if you like.

P.S. Tundra if you ever need a helping hand, and I can be of assistance then let me know. There's a thing called "Loyalty" which you've earned by "being there".

P.S.S. The Lightning is waiting for my return, so I must "cure" this as soon as possible. She's been mighty lonely! She's only got 3,000 miles on her to date, and she is going on 2 years old in the next 4 months.
