Well today I had a very intresting situation. Was coming down a local blvd, stopped at a light, looked at the oncoming 2 lanes, and see a L in the far lane, with a very, very, rare car next to it, a Lamborghini Diablo, looked to be brand new too. Lightning was reving hsi engine and jumped at the lgiht, lambo didint flinch, i think ive got a good idea what would have happened f\if he did though . Also up at my work tonight theres a 17yr opld with a nice new Civic Si and talks lots of trash about how fast it is and compares it to a Supra TT (its stock) *laugh*, anyway another guy from mobile audio with a 2000L is running him tonight, only catch is hes running hmi backwards on a 1/10th strip (hes a experienced driver), ill be sure to post pics if we get some.

 

Uh? I was with you until that last sentence. Racing him in reverse? That SI better sell that thing if he loses!

How about that Diablo, what happened when the light went green?

 

Nothing, back of the L sunk across the intersection but the lambo didint bite, the way the lgihts were they were goona line up at the next light. However my lgiht was green and i was moving in the opposite direction across a bridge .

 

If the Si is stock he's only running low 16's. I helped a guy I work with put a Jackson Racing Supercharger with an 8lb pulley on his Si. It took 1.2 seconds off. Stock was 16.4 but after SC 15.2. Helped him put an exhaust system on last weekend which probably put him in the high 14's. Stock they're not much but be careful if they've got some major mods.

The bold part is where you lost me. I think the Lightning top speed in reverse is 35-40. (Dont ask)

If I owned a Civic, I'd be embarrassed to line up. If I won, how do I brag about it?
