EVERYONE in here, whos from N.J. what dealer did u get your lightning from? WAYNE FORD is near me and they are the only SVT FORD DEALER that i know of. northern N.J. anyway. later all Mike. BTW, they have a bright red 2000 L leftover, RED TAG CLEARANCE SALE. i dont know how much they will let it go for though. i know the sticker was 31,400. OH, they also have a COBRA R ON SHOWROOM FLOOR, NEXT TO HARLEY EDITION F150!! its a great ford dealer to visit i'd say!

Hey Mike, I did not buy my lghtning in new jersey because the prices were too high. I bought my truck in penn. near Allentown and paid $1000 over invoice. at that time Wayne Ford wanted to get $1500 over MSRP. I said YEA let me just open my checkbook. thanks but no thanks! I work 2 miles away from Wayne Ford and know the dealership very well. unfortunately, the dealers in n.j are always looking to clean up on the deal. For example in todays bergen record nov.12 a dealer in hackensack called all american ford has an ad that says they are discounting the truck down from $33,300 dollars to sell at MSRP. MAN what a deal. most dealers in the country are selling 2000 bolts at or near INVOICE price. 2001 orders are selling at MSRP. what is wrong with these people. good ol jersey. 95rcobra.

YEA, wayne ford always had the lightnings marked up about 2,000 as i remember. this has always been the case with their svt vehicles. i remember back in 96 they had a new mystic cobra i was interested in before i bought my SS. The price was 28,180, they had it jacked up 5,000 to 33,180. lol lol i saw that and left, otherwise i might of been the owner of a 96 mystic cobra instead of a camaro SS! : ) its funny, they write on a new window sticker next to the original sticker on the window, and it says "MARKET ADJUSTMENT" this is their way of saying, "YOUR GONNA GET SCREWED ON THIS DEAL" LOL LOL its like when u go out to eat and it says in the menu near lobster "SEASONAL PRICE" lol anytime u want something out of the ordinary or something special that coems in limited quantities, be prepared to pay, haha this sucks for me, cause i like all specialty vehicles, such as LIGHTNINGS AND CAMARO SS'S. LATER ALL MIKE

I bought my Bolt from Wayne Ford and paid $1k over sticker. I _HAD_ to buy it in March and couldn't wait for other dealers to get theirs in. (my other car was totaled)

Wayne Ford also has a used black bolt that someone traded it sitting in their lot. They've both been there a bit now so they may actually be selling them for some normal price.

Pistulli Ford in Paramus is also a SVT dealer. They would have sold me a truck for MSRP but they didn't get their trucks until May....I think they are sold out.

There was a third SVT dealer that I found in Jersey City, J & S Ford Inc.(Susie Destafano or Joey Goncolves at (201) 432-7272), but again, they didn't have trucks until JUNE...dunno if they have any left.

I had some others, but I've since forgotten them...When I shopped around in February, anyone within 120mi of me wanted MSRP to MSRP+$2k ... with getting mine for MSRP+$1k, I was happy to get it quick. (Delivery was March 24)

Now my dealer is only 5 min from me as well.
