Hooray! I finally got back on from my home computer! Guess either the website was being updated or there was a very high volume of traffic the last couple of nights!
PS - The Red L just loves this cool North Carolina air...seems to be getting faster now registering 4800 miles.

If you can not ping their router a network problem exists. Or you can do a traceroute to see the millisecond delay across the network. Kind of like a Pro-M in reverse...just kidding...
PING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go to Start, select Run
2. empty the box first and them type
ping -t "www.f150online.com" without the quotation marks and then...
3. Observe the output..........
4. Reply from 216.167.31.120 should be observed. In lieu of this if you receive a timed out response, big problemo, networks down. If the reply from the ip address of the sponsors router or their ISP provider displays you will also observe the follwing information: .. bytes=32 time= TTL=
what this indicates is you, yes "you" by typing the "Ping" command with the -t switch sent 32 bytes of data, 1's and 0's (binary) the next in line is time=, this is the response from the sponsors or thier ISP'S equipment which is prolly a Cisco Router or sumthin' along those lines (Juniper)etc..blah..blah..response meaning echo response back from them to "you"...anyway anything over about 250 milliseconds of delay and you risk the dropped call syndrome, the call will drop and you will receive a dial tone if a telephone switch is present..blah..blah..and the next line is TTL, this means Time To Live..which is supposed to be decremented from whateva number of hops the connection takes (TCP/IP)..BLAH.. which is network hops to 0. I dunno..never really figured that one out..but take it from the "once a union pipefitter".. and now the xDSL guru in San Antone..I hope this is in laymens terms...FIRE ME IF NOT
