That scrolling Marquees mess up the posts for about 5% of the people on this board?

 

maybe its just me, but it appears you have some other issues as well unless you are intentionaly posting this many times. And if that is the case then I see that just as much a pain as seeing or dealing with the scrolling marques.

 

Maybe Steve can delete some of the crap

 

This could have all been avoided. But a few people on this board would rather intentionally screw up the posts when I asked nicely to correct the problem. Instead they would rather make fun of me. So I nuked the board! Hopefully this will be the end of the war, because I can be an a**hole too. I tried the nice way first.

I have had no problems with the scrolling marquee's and I use IE and Netscape on a PC, Mac and Solaris box.

Go get your damn WebTV fixed and stop whining. You have a problem with one user and you then have to try to ruin things for everyone? That's not cool. You're acting like you're twelve.

I cant fix the computer, I'm not using one! Read the other posts maybe you would learn there are at least 10 people on this board having the SAME problem. I am nice guy until someone plays games then It's time to get mean. This was NOT a big thing I asked. Bulldog not only refused to help fix the problem for those having problems, But started making fun of me in every post. would you sit there & take it? I don't think so. It's a stupid little thing that got blown out of proportion because of ignorance. Fight fire with fire.

 

Yeah I think the problem is your WEBTV based browser. It doesnt take much of anything to sign on and read message boards. Add a few tricks and then if the browser is crap it cant handle all of whats going on, kind of like scrolling marquees. The same can be said for out of date browsers on computers.
The bottom line still remains though that two wrongs dont make a right and you being childish and immature by posting 50 times wastes others time and bandwidth here for no reason what so ever. Grow up and get better equipment.

 

Kristi has a brand new computer that does the same thing. This was not a problem until Bulldog made it one.

 

Just because it is brand new doesnt mean the software on it is capable and able to work with everything out. Lots of the new systems these days has software that is out of date (drivers for modems, sound cards, browser patches, etc.) at the time of purchase. Sad fact of life.

 

So you go and spam the board for everyone else? Thats a fantastic way of coping, *begin sarcasm* I'm totally on your side and feel sorry for you now *end sarcasm*. The only thing I see out of proportion is your 25 posts. Bulldog's comments where all within your Marquee post.

Next time try EMAILING THE WEBMASTER about it... When people had trouble with pictures being there, they let him know, he took care of it.

you said computer then edited it to "Webtv" But that's irrelevant. I first posted about te problem. Then I emailed the webmaster. He replied back saying that he could not correct the problem, & that he would email Bulldog, who was the only one causing the problem after Noel & speedin Bob changed their posts. So what does Bulldog do? He goes on in his posts to see how many people he can get to keep this going. And he writes Chicago sucks in every one of his posts. He egged this whole thing on from the begining. What would you do? it's evident that nobody seen this as a "real problem" all this could've been avoided with a little common courtesy.

 

I use the WebTV at home and there is alot of things it won't do. What do you expect for what you paid for it. You don't see me on here being a cry baby about it. So quit being a d1ck he@d and go by a real computer or live with it.

PS- I wish I knew how to make scrolling posts because every post I made would have one.

 

It seems that BULLDOG made it personal.Lloyd isnt the only one with this problem.The people he asked changed their "scrolling marquee" so he and others could read the posts.WOW THAT IS OBVIOUSLY ASKING WAY TOO MUCH FOR SOME PEOPLE!Id be a little upset too if i asked someone nicely to fix an issue and then they had to be an A$$ about it.

For the good of the board, please remove the scrolling text from your "Location" field. Frankly, it adds no value and it quite annoying, and obviously interferes with others enjoyment of the boards. Why gripe about a simple request like this?
