Toyota quality
Apparentlty some on this board think Toyota's ***** don't stink. Oh, I beg to differ.
One of my co-workers bought a brand new Toyota Tundra 9 months ago. It has warped the front brake rotors 5 times. It is now in the shop again, and has had the entire breaking system replaced and it is still screwed up. They have been without this truck for a total of 38 days.
As of this week, the matter is going to arbitration, and he is demanding a new truck or a buy back.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine's Lexus GS 400(?) 30,000 miles and the front pads are fine, but the rotors are worn out. Wonder if it will ever become public knowledge, or will they hide it by secretly fixing it and replacing the bad parts when the customer comes in for routine maintenance?
