Ford has agreed to replace the right side cylinder head due to the sparkplug blowout. My Lightning is a 2002 and the dealer said they are putting the updated head on. Will this have any negative affect on performance? Are these heads interchangable? My dealer seems to know enough to be dangerous.

 

The only difference between heads is the number of threads in the spark plug holes.
