Lightnings should be electric anyway.

Unhappy

Think i'll have to go with nutria power. the only thing that keeps these 30lb hamsters in check in heavily populated areas, is banned "semi" automatic weapons. Since these will be double banned along with my V8 supercharged guzzler. i will have to resort to "catch-em-alive" traps and a 10ft diameter nutria treadmill fitted in the bed. i checked with a few trappers and they claim the power to weight ratio of these varmits is huge, especially when caged.

Talking

Lets see. If you increase the diameter of the wire in the field, the motor will handle more current and then be able to spin the armiture faster under a larger load. Will this be the first mod the the electric Lightning??????

Them nutria varmints is especially powerful when they is riled up.

Tease 'em with a stick, and you can get .2 off your 60' times.

Just make sure you have 'em in an NHRA-approved cage, so they don't get out.

Wink

couldn't we just fix the whole problem by letting Gore have a testdrive in a Lightning. That would change his views on gas engines pretty quick, wouldn't it?

Cool

Those who know me know that I am a dedicated tree hugger. I bought a Lightning because it is the quickest way I know of to deplete all the petrochemicals and force the change to solar powered vehicles.

I sell gas for a living. When prices go up, people complain while they are filling their tanks. When prices go down, people ask me when the price is going to go even lower while filling their tanks. When the sun shines, people fill their tanks. When the wind blows, people fill their tanks.

Gasoline will be around for a long time. People will always bitch about the price. There will always be performance cars and trucks. Technology as always will save the world by offering cleaner and more efficient engines over the years.

Hybrids will become more popular as an alternative to gasoline engines. One day in our children's lives, there will be an awesome sportscar that does not use gasoline.

Technology will lead the way, not political power...

Typical Republican. Just turn 'em loose to infest the waterways.
