All I know is that I'm never spending $100 plus $6 tax to do a dyno pull again. Too many variables to suit me. I've found my trusty little G-Tech to be very consistent even if it's not dead accurate with base numbers. It is very good, however, to show change to the base number after mods. And it is done totally under my control at my convenience.

Yes, I know the VC2000 is better and I do have access to one. I will do a comparison.

My Dynojet pulls were consistant, the higher being the first with the cooler engine and the second without shutting off the engine between pulls. Perhaps operator error?

Jim, I am sorry to hear that. The LS1 Boyz who attend the MTI pulls in Houston get good dyno readings. Is it the weight of our vehicles? Oh well..life in the fast lane...thanks...jw

Mike at Superchips told me that it's the weight of the trucks. The DynoJet is not made to test our type of vehicle. Therefore, any testing of the L's would produce a completely skewed report.

BUT if I am to believe what the dyno has recorded that my L has 382.3 horse power at the rear wheel and producing 520 lbs. of torgue as my charts show or the second pull of 490.3 ft. lbs., I am excited.
