Wanna run LAGUNA SECA?
Dreamin,
Looks like a Photoshop opportunity to me.
Lots more "cushion" there after last years problem. Still one of the most difficult turns in racing, IMHO

A friend of mine is renting Laguna Seca on November 24... the full 2.3mi track. This event will be run similar to a "hi-performance driving school". It is NOT a race - though 20 cars will be on the track at any one time, passing will be allowed only on the straights and wide turns.
This will be a full day event, with a limited number of cars (mostly turbo imports) - and lots of track time...
I am entering my Lightning and RX7.
Cost is $180. Laguna Seca is in Monterey, California.
While events at LS fill up very quickly, because of the date (Nov 24 is the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend) he still has a few spot open.
Post general questions here. If you are interested in entering, please email me directly.

DreaminAboutL,
I sent you an e-mail today as I would like to take a run out on Laguna Seca. Attended the last SVT event at Altamont but running on a 1/2 mile track is nothing compaired to 2.3 miles of heaven.

A couple people that emailed me may come in from quite a ways and they asked if anything else is going on that weekend... there sure is!
SCCA is doing a "hi-performance driving school" that weekend at Thunderhill Raceway. (About 3 hours from Laguna Seca.) Basic school is Sat Nov 25, Advanced school is Nov 26.
Nathan, Ruslow - you guys would be fine for the Advanced school, tell them you have lots of track experience, etc.
Others - your call.
Anyway, the events are full, but if you're interested, call them ASAP and get yourself on the wait list.

(530) 934-5588 - talk to Shannon.
I will be at the Nov 26 event.
