Harwood Cowl Hood Questions.
Harwood Cowl Hood Questions.
O.k. guys I'm thinking of doing a cowl hood on my truck and I really like the aggressiveness of the big Harwood hood. I did some searching and found a couple pics that showed some of the angles but I was wondering if anyone had any pics from inside the truck so I could see about what I would be lookin over, would also be great to get a pic of its underside. I'm 6' 2 so I dont think it should be a problem but I just would like to check. Also can anyone elaborate on what is needed to be done so that the hood fits perfect with all the body lines and hood gaps even the way they should be. I've come across a couple threads of some saying the hood fit perfect then a couple sayin the hood required alot of prep to be perfect. Would like some more details. Thanks.
I'm 5' 7" and the harwood isn't that bad. I don't have any pics from the inside though. But i will say this one needed some work to be "straight" and look decent. I have heard the same thing from other harwood owners on previous occasions.
I picked a 4 inch harwood cowl up from ebay 2 months ago. I just finished all the prep work last week. It is going in for paint a week from monday. I am bringing it home from my shop tommarow. I will take some pics and post for you asap. I have the 3 inch cobra R hood on my 01 L and I love it. Hope the harwood fits as good.

Blown, I am bringing my Harwood home for sure friday so I will have pics and measurments up for you asap friday after work. It is not painted yet so you will see it all prepped up. I put about 4 hours into prepping and sanding, gelling, more sanding etc...... Hope it fits. The Cervinis is nice and comes ready to install but is also cost 5 bills compared to 2 bills. The cervinis is also much lighter becuase it is plastic. The harwood is fiberglass and gelcoated.
