Angry Intercooler failure

As I have alluded to in other posts, I feel certain that I have the dreaded intercooler failure. 8000 miles and the reservoir is almost empty. I spoke to SVT this morning and asked them what the diagnostic procedure was, and Jason told me that if the reservoir is going down and its not leaking at the hose then your IC is going south. No TSB on it yet, but he said they were working on the fix, and we '99 and '00 owners "would be taken care of". Gave me the name of a person at the Tech Hot-line for the dealer to contact - Jake Somebody, but I lost the slip of paper I wrote it on, anyone know Jake's last name? Took the truck to the dealer and showed them the reservoir. At first the service advisor insisted that the IC was part of the cooling system, and they would have to test the whole system. I insisted it was a seperate system, and after checking it out again he agreed with me. Said they would have to diagnose it first, and gave me an appointment next Monday. Wanted to know if I wanted the reservoir topped off and I said no thanks, I'd prefer not to run any more glycol through the motor, if it runs dry I'll fill with distilled water and alcohol. So, that's where we stand at this point. Any advice or helpful suggestions?

alphadoggy,
e-mail BABolt, he can give you the name if Ford doesn't have a policy against it.
