Question ? about R9 program

Is it true that for the first couple hundred miles the chip runs at 80% until the learning period is over? Anybody find this to be true?

It's not that the chip that is running at 80%, it just takes that long for the computer to read the codes in from the chip for the different driving conditions. You should be able to speed up the learning curve by disconnecting the battery cable for a few minutes during/after the chip install. When the battery is reconnected the computer will reset and read the codes in sooner.
