The taillights are horrible. Exactly what stopped me from getting an IS300 for a daily driver. But at least it's possible to put 2000 taillights on the 01 L if you like everything else about it, right?

YAY, Only 3 months away until my L is finally here!!! But it does suck that they are stepping up the numbers, there goes my exclusivity (spelled right?). I could handle 5,000 in the world, but 7,500..It'll be like my Camaro, bought it brand new in 1999 (16 miles on it), 1 month later, every other car I saw was a Camaro, of course, I shouldn't compare Oranges to eggs....ya know.

forget the cosmetics, I want to hear how to retrofit the 2001 engine mods....
(also, is the new driveshaft lighter? another purchase!)

Haven't they always been Bilsteins?

That really sucks that they are making 7500. Year after that it will be 10000. Eventually it will be like "only 50,000" a year.

Despite the upgrades I'm glad I got a 99.
