If you think you have a bad day, check this out!

A little humbling, isn't it?

Mike

Received the pictures that you sent. They were amazing. I have never seen anything like that before.

Having been twice deployed to the Western Pacific/Persian Gulf on a ship of similar size during my stint in the Navy, this is quite disturbing.

Unhappy

And to add insult to the injury, they're going to have to travel around the southern tip of Africa and take the L-O-N-G way home to the US...due to "security/safety issues" in the Suez canal.

Where's an old fashioned military "convoy" when you need it? A little flexing of the muscles (via escorts via the sea AND air) as the injured ship gets escorted back home through the Suez would be appropriate for all parties involved.

Instead, personnel and hardware operability are lacking and thus not "prepared" to take on such a task.

VOTE Tuesday...please.

they got the 2 barge like boats and they have a raft like float in the middle that is submersible and it went under the boat then lifted it out of the water and placed the stakes there to support it. they also left the propeller and the radar off the side to keep it from getting damaged.

******saw it on the news*******

Cool

Let's repair our ship ASAP, then deploy to the gulf area, and let the men and women of the USS Cole, send the revenge, by the way of a couple Tomahawk cruise payback MF's to them. The Gator says, "God bless our service men and women" and thank you.
