Question Anyone ever used these before? Jacobs Gapping Pliers

Just wondering if anybody has ever used these before. They are Jacobs spark plug gapping pliers.

HI!... I have a bunch of buddies that use those at the track all the time. Good tool. I'm thinking of picking up a set myself.

I bought a pair years ago and didn't like them. Never felt secure in their usage.

yeah, they suck.

Got one somewhere... used on a couple of plugs, and that was it.

They work great on the old style plugs, with the full size center electrode. They do not work very good on the new type plugs, with a wire for a center electrode. Artie

Chrisnelson over on SVTP uses them.. dont think hes had any complants

They WILL break the electrode off of the wire style plugs.

Thanks for all the feedback. There seems to be more negative than good about this gapping tool. I think I'll pass on using them.
