Question 2001 intake upgrade: swappable?

Does anyone know if this claimed improved intake coming on the 2001 L is something we can bolt on our 99-2000 L's? Also is there a manufacturer out there that makes an intercooler with thicker cores for the lightning for more thorough cooling of the blower antifreeze without having to re-engineer the the intake assembly. Basically a direct swap Maybe?

there should be in a month to 6 weeks. mine goes in for the work in about 3 weeks. i will be getting blueprinted super charger pulleys and special shafts and inter cooler for starters. i am hoping for a 8 into 1 header collector.. with my jl chip it should be a very low 12 sec or better..

Tortis, I'm out here in Las Vegas for the SEMA show. I talked with an Eaton Rep on the intercooler. He said the 2001 intercooler will work and is the fix for the 99.5-2000 L's. I have spoken with Holley here at the show on their new "THUNDER" system for the 5.4l. Eaton supercharger will not work on their intercooler. I have not found an aftermarket intercooler as a direct replacement. I have two more days to go at the show. 6000 vandors and two convention centers. I'll post if i find something.
