Post Dyno Run

I went to Pro Dnyo on Friday. I had a great time. There was nothing but GM products in the garage. The two guys who were working weren't real familiar with the Lightning. While I was waiting for my turn they were finishing up a Trans Am. It put out 314HP, and the owner was extremely pleased. Told a little about some of his mods.

Finally got the L strapped down. On the first pull I was by the passenger door with the TA owner. On this run I had just the MAF in. All of a sudden the 2 guys working there are having a very concerned, animated conversation by the driver door. Finally they asked me what I was expecting. I told them 320HP to 330HP. Turns out the L was doing 362HP and 430ft lbs. torque, and they were expecting 270HP. The TA owners attitude changed and all of a sudden he's asking me questions. Well to make a long story short the SuperChip brought me the best at 370HP/440ft lbs. All of a sudden I'm one of the guys, instead of guy with a hay hauler. After all the runs, I think there was 8 total, the one guy gives me a beer and tells me if I can get 10 to 12 guy they'll open on a Saturday for a test and tune day for $60. I'm thinking with the Lightning owners, and people from work this might happen. Let me know if your interested.

They're super nice guys, considering they drive GM's. :-) I can probably get 5 guys from work to go. I've got 2 for sures so far. Pro Dyno just needs a couple weeks notice to make sure they're not racing on the weekend we pick.
