Thumbs up excal11 and dyno

Im pretty sure that a dyno on your own truck is better then
one thats canned in a mail order excal11,but.
My local tuner works only on ford gts cobras and lightnings and knows what he is doing, but to buy an excal,11 and a dyno tune it costs 750.00.
From some of our supporting vendors we can get the excal,11 and 3 tunes for under 500.00.
In any stretch of the imagination could this be worth 750.00?
Thanks in advance for any input jeff

I can sell you an Xcal2 with 3 tunes for $439. Depending on how modded your truck is, my tunes are very close to optimum, based on my years of tuning Lightnings. However, nothing beats real dyno tuning. Especially with todays constantly changing fuels, different temps and altitudes, and so on. Plus some trucks just run different. And then you also have the possibility of something being work with the truck, which you will be able to spot on the dyno before any damage occurs.

I would also get about $750 for the Xcal2 and dyno tuning. It's money well spent.

Sorry for the Hi-jack but...
Sal, I have been looking into getting the X-Cal2. All I would have to do is send you a list of mods and you would pre-load a tune into it? About how much would it cost to get it dyno tuned at a later date? Im talking basic chip, filter, pulley stuff. Nothing hardcore. Thanks...

It's $379 for an Xcal2 with one custom tune, setup for your mods. Dyno time later on depends on how long it takes on the dyno and how many pulls. A typical bolt on Lightning is about $300-$400 in dyno tuning.
