Post Two trophys from second trip to Hallsville Raceway

Autothrottle, Moonshine and I made the trip back to Hallsville Raceway. Had a great time, Auto and Moonshine came away with ( WON ) Trophy's. I posted a new best top speed but that was the highlight of my racing.

Notice he didn't say they "won" the trophies. They just "came away" with two.

Hmmmmm.

Noel, hard to come by is debateable. After the brackets they had a Ford v. Chevy shootout on a pro tree. Heads up racing with no dials, one run. Track personnel tried to match cars. Only they ran out of Chevys, so my race was against a Mach 1. Not sure which of us was supposed to be the Chevy. I accidentally spotted him 2/10's by snoozing on the pro tree (R/T of 1.0X). I spent the first 1000 feet running him down. Pulled ahead at the very end with a 13.2 to his 13.4. Collected my "Ford v. Chevy" trophy for beating another Ford. But it was a fun race, and made for a close finish. Worth the trip, but I'm ready to go back in February hunting 12's.
