I have been using it in my 95 Cobra (5.0) and have been getting 18 to 20 mpg in town. But I have Saleen headers, Bassani X pipe with high flow cats,a Borla exhaust and a K&N filter charger kit.

So it may be a combination of mods. I figured it would not hurt.

I'd never heard of Z-Max, so I did a search. Is this what you are talking about? http://www.pslgroup.com/dg/7f64e.htm

That is some nasty stuff Mark_2kL.

Z-Max is a formula that cleans injectors, supposedly increases MPG and horespower. How well it works, I don't know, but i've seen the info-mercials, and also at local car stores, like Kragens, or Auto Parts, etc. etc.

For what it's worth I thought about this stuff as well as other additives...I finally decided to rely on past experiences throughout life. If it sounds too good to be true then it is.

I decided to use Mobil1...change every three thousand miles and leave it at that.

Question Z-Max

Anyone try this stuff in their "L" or anything else? Had to watch the ad for a 1/2 hour on Speedvision (I was bored) still undecided. Any thoughts?
