Thumbs up Stock Dyno Results

Took my bone stock 2000 L to Woodbridge Dynotech in Woodbridge VA this morning. Really cool guys that work there BTW, highly recommend them for any of you guys in the area.

The graph got a bit screwed up because of the shift spike that occured before going into 3rd gear.

Here is a breakdown of run 1:

Here is a breakdown of run 2:

Had to get back to work, so I only did two runs. Best was 329.3 RWHP and 413.7 RWTQ from the second run breakdown sheet.

With a 17% drivetrain loss: 385.3 HP - 484 TQ

With a 20% drivetrain loss: 395.2 HP - 496.4 TQ

Which one of these is most accurate?

These seem like good numbers to me, what do you guys think?

The drivetrain loss on these is suppose to be 11.2%.

A little better than my 4.6 liter. It posted a 166rwhp and 239 max torque stock. I put a superchip in it so I should be about the same as your figures now!

Thumbs up

That's a mighty stout stocker. Looks like you got one of the good motors.

The drivetrain loss is 11.2% @ max Torque, at least according to Ford's wonderful Drivetrain Simulation Test Stand at the Sharonville Transmission Plant. (it's about a $70,000,000 machine, I'm told)
