Talking Hallsville

OK folks, if we want to make another Saturday trip to Hallsville we have one opportunity left before the end of the season. Saturday October 28th they're having a Ford v. Chevy shootout. Who's game for another Hallsville blast?

Cool

I'm committed to go on a 4-day motorcycle trip to Arkansas that weekend. I'll see if I can rearrange my plans.

Looks like the bike trip is going to be history due to the weather at the end of this week. Hallsville will probably work IF the weather clears up by Saturday in East Texas.

Wes or anyone else game? Doug, do we want to make the meeting location the same as last trip? The Sonic in Balch Springs? we probably need to leave earlier this time. Gates open at 9:00 AM Saturday, with time trials beginning at 10:00 AM, and eliminations starting at 2:00 PM. Maybe leave Balch Springs at 8:00 or so?

Looks like the bike trip is on again. Got my foul weather gear ready and heading to Arkansas in the morning. I would like one last chance to break in to the 12s. I guess maybe next year.

I wonder why the schedule change ?? Other than it gets darker earlier ?? Last time we went was Sat right ?? I hate getting up that early.

The weather is up in the air one channel says rain the other says not till late Sat.

The meeting area sounds good. I have had too many beers to commit to 8 am now, I will check this thread in the am...

Not going to be able to make it after all. Have to work on Saturday. I dont have a chip right now anyway. I was hoping I would have my new JL chip in and not have to work but sometimes you just loose from every direction.

Well, the ranks are dwindling. Looks like Silver, Autothrottle, and thee. Doug, the change in times is because it's a Ford v. Chevy shootout rather than just regular brackets. I borrowed a CB so I can yammer at you to keep you awake, but if y'all want to meet later we can. I've got nothing against sleep. Which exit off LBJ is that Sonic at?
