fuel pressure problems

you need to find out what that code was,,,,the burnt plug sounds like it was lean

did the truck do all the same things before the fuel pump swap?

if the truck ran fine before the swap,,,,the problem is probably in your tank,,,drop and see

i once chased a similar problem for over a year,,,,all along it was the tune

Well the code was a lean bank, it was the passanger side which was the same side as the burned plug, the reason i changed the pumps is because the fuel pressre was dropping, when i changed the fuel pumps the fuel pressre was better it was way better but the was because the resistor was tied together. i went to ford and got a brand new resistor and it now bonces around 20 to 25. it goes to 80 WOT and stay there the hole time.
