Question Brakes feel funny???

At medium to low brake application, my pedal feels like it pulses. This hasn't caused me any problems so far. Tonight while slowing down for a left hand turn, I hit the brakes, they pulsed and then the truck seemed to lunge forward as if I took my foot off the brakes. It felt like the pedal gave way. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Is this just a sensitive ABS system or does my truck have something that needs further inspection?
Thanks for any advice!
Ryan

Ryan: A number of people (including me) have an issue with our brakes, whereby the ABS activates in the 5-0mph area, (slowing down and coming to a stop) - especially when turning the wheel a little. When the ABS activates, the pedal pulses mildly and the braking force decreases slightly because the ABS is releasing the brake pressure a little.

If you have something other than the above, i.e. the truck is "lunging" forward, or pedal sinking to the floor, or ABS is activating at higher speed... I'd get it checked-out immediately.

Thumbs down

Dreamin - I have exactly the problem that you've described. So now what do I do? Will Ford fix it or better question, is there a fix? Thanks.

Ryan - I dont know what dealers are doing about it... if you have a good one, definitely take it to them and have it checked out... I am ignoring the problem on my L for now.
